I spent 12 years in orthopedics - two of them as the Director of Patient Care Practice for Emory Orthopedics - before making the leap into plastic surgery and aesthetics, which I have practiced for the last 6 years. I've lived the first-job overwhelm, the speciality pivot, and the leadership climb firsthand.
